North Korea claimed to have launched military reconnaissance satellite on the evening of November 21. This marked its third attempt, following two failed similar launches in May and August. It was also the 22nd time this year that North Korea conducted either a missile test or military satellite, once again disrupting regional peace and security.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) of the Republic of China (Taiwan) expresses grave concern and strongly condemns North Korea’s provocative actions. It again urges North Korea to abide by related United Nations Security Council resolutions and pursue peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula and across the region through dialogue.
