I. Import Permit Application
1. Pets entering Taiwan must obtain an import permit issued in advance by the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Agency (APHIA) via the official online portal (Click Here).
2. Applications should be submitted at least 20 days prior to shipment. Pets imported without prior approval may be refused entry or returned.
3. Applicants are advised to carefully review the APHIA website to ensure all pre-arrival and post-entry requirements are met.
4. Pets arriving at the port are subject to quarantine in accordance with Taiwan’s animal health regulations.
