The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) initiated a drive on March 7 to collect in-kind donations for Ukrainian refugees who have been displaced and fled to neighboring countries in the wake of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. MOFA’s appeal received an overwhelming response; many people personally delivered or posted humanitarian supplies to MOFA, with local NGOs and volunteers working tirelessly to help sort and package materials.

MOFA would like to thank everyone for their very generous donations. The compassion displayed by such a widespread cross-section of the public is worthy of the highest praise and admiration.

MOFA would like to remind people that in-kind donations ended at 5 p.m. on March 18. Those wishing to send their love and support to Ukrainian refugees can continue to donate to the special account of the Relieve Disaster Foundation until April 1. Please contact the foundation directly for account details and related information. (E)
